We stopped here for a picnic lunch on a roadtrip. A lovely place! Tons of parking, lots of little areas to sit. A very well-done park with gorgeous waterfront.

Park and parking is free. Not sure about boat launch
Can a kayak be rented or do I need to bring my own?

Weren't they supposed to be building condos/townhouses or soemthing like that as part of this park? Hubby and I in Hopewell and looking to downsize at some point and WOW with a view like this . . . hmmmmm! :)

They were not building in the park but just down the street on the opposite side. Much progress has been made on the construction.
No swimming is allowed at Long Dock Park, however there is swimming allowed at a small river pool at Riverfront Park located on the Beacon riverfront as well. Walking from the parking lot to Long Dock isn't far at all.
