Very nice camping experience. Campsites are very large with much space between sites. Fire pit and picnic table at each site. Surrounded by mature trees, rock and ferns. Lots of wildlife, many wide cut trails, nice lakes and swimming beach. Best vault toilets, flush bathrooms, showers of any park! Whole park is very clean. Only minor negatives trees set back in brush too far to use hammocks and cut-off hours for getting wood or ice not known (sign only says opens at 8).

Exceptional park with all the amenities. Beautiful views of Woods Lake and the Peshtigo River leading into Caldron Falls. Large log, enclosed, pavilion with stone fireplace with scenic views can be rented for large gatherings. The winding drive is spectacular. Turtles, birds, deer, fox, and bear are among the parks many year round residents. If you are a true nature lover, this hidden gem in Wisconsin Northwoods is calling YOU!

Beautiful park, clean bathrooms. The office is open during certain hours, ensure you come on time if you have kids-Ask for the adventure pack or smokey the bear backpack. …

Camped here for a single night & was blown away! The absolute cleanest vault toilets I've ever seen! I know lots of features in the park are pretty new, but of the 4 toilets I visited, they were well cared for. Gorgeous wooded areas everywhere, lots of paths, even within the campground loop.

Yes leashed dogs are welcome.
Hiking trails needed mowing weekend of June 6th. Picked up 20 ticks in short hike on trails.
About 5 miles from veterans Park that has some waterfalls. there's also some smaller waterfalls to the north of it but those are at least another 5 mi as well
Usually quick. Depends on time of day and if the person is near their phone 24/7
You could try Pops Resort. Their not to far from there on Cty X in Twin Bridge. Thornton's Rafting Resort rents Kayaks for pretty cheap and they are just down Parkway a couple miles.
You just save entry fee no discount on site, i thouhht it was $35 but guy above might be right
