Pelicans Roost has a very nice family vibe and a low key atmosphere. Visited in the off season ( late August) and was very happy with the privacy. The condos are packed with what you need. Since all are individually owned I can only speak for 301 which had everything we needed, even a cooler for the beach. The pool is awesome and despite there being a very large gulf to swim in we used the pool every time we went in the oven. We had 8 people in the condo and there was plenty of room and privacy. Plenty of wild life on site. Dolphins swam through every night around 7. One time about 15’ from shore and stayed to play.

This place looks nice from the outside. Just on the beach with a huge beach view area. We would have considered it but honestly the Palm View beats any rental place in Sanibel Island

The room we stayed in ( 203 ) had mold in the vents and covered a chair in the living room. The manger called me yesterday ( he was on vacation ) and I told them I wanted a refund for the stay and making my family and I sick. He said that he had ordered a mold inspection to come out and that IF he was allowed Id be given the report. He had NO sensitivity to the fact that my room caused my family and I to be sick on my wedding weekend. Its been 24 hours and I still havnt heard from him or anyone else. DO NOT STAY HERE!
