Small but nice campground for Active Duty, Retired Military, Reservists, National Guards, DoD Civilians, Installation Contractors and those listed in AR215-1, paragraph 7-1 are eligible to camp at the Fort Belvoir Travel Camp.

This is a pretty pricey park for a military fam camp at $55/night. You're getting soaked with DC prices. The campground is nice, and the sites are fairly long and paved or concrete pads. There is a dumpster near the bath house and laundry. There are also trash cans and ash bins everywhere. Verizon service was OK and Starlink was solid as there aren't any big trees around. I would recommend going to your site and setting up, and then drive your car over to Outdoor Rec to check in. There isn't a good turn around spot for once you get there if you're still connected.

There are tent sites available for primitive camping. They aren't located at the rv sites but by the trail across from the mwr building. If you are rv camping you are allowed a tent per site as well.
You're question was answered but I would add that it is definitely a better option to park on post where it's free and vehicle is safe from break ins etc. Does take like 40 minutes to get to King St. Station to grab the metro into DC but worth the extra few minutes to avoid the hassle
Its for military and their families, I stay there when I visit my daughter on base. Of course the serviceman needs to make the registration for us.
Active duty gets 120 days. The rule is that you have to leave for 3-5 days (depending on season), then you can come back for another 60/120 days. Belvoir is one of the most expensive camps, so not a lot of people stay that long.
All stays are $50.00 a night. Same price for active duty as installation contractors and DOD
There is a maximum # of days, but will work with you on longer stays.
