St. Joe’s is a great school. Awesome foundation for kids. In response to Brett Stonecipher - Not sure if you remember anything clearly Brett, but we were in the same graduating class (2013). You started in first or second grade, right? The review you gave St. Joe’s is incredibly unfair. You came to our school and told our class stories about inappropriate situations and things you had seen on the internet. You constantly spoke about s*x*al things that most of us would never have known about otherwise, at least not until a few years later. Your experience at St. Joe’s was largely because of the weird things you did in class plus what you used to talk to us about. Maybe you forgot but I don’t think anyone else did. On top of that, I applaud St. Joe’s for having teachers that explained why we should support pro-life public figures. At the very least, it gave those of us who actually wanted to be religious a lens at which to view those in power — that is to say, not to vote for someone solely because they are pro-life, but as Catholics, we should try to support those who actually reflect our views. And since this is a Catholic school, I am eternally grateful that I received the foundation I got here that I wouldn’t have gotten from any worldly source. Don’t expect to not learn about things from a Catholic standpoint if you’re attending a Catholic school. I wanted to leave this review even if you, Brett, don’t see this. Mrs. Preston and Fr. Noel may have their faults, but we weren’t exactly a normal middle school class, were we? And you definitely weren’t a model student, so suffice to say, I don’t think your review is entirely honest or reliable. This is a good school. At least it was back then. It’s a heck of a lot better than any public school in the area.
