this bank is just alright. the staff is wonderful, that is why i gave 3 stars. general banking and every day transactions are no problem. HOWEVER, beware their credit cards and lines of credit. they are irresponsible with their credit system, and once you think you have paid it off and walk away you are liable to be hit with interest payments that should have reflected on your personal account page during the course of using the credit and upon the final payoff so you are aware of everything you owe. it will show part but not all of what you actually have to pay until weeks after you make what you think is your final payment. i had a credit line for two years, paid interest pretty much every month and thought it was accurate in the payoff it showed. when i refinanced my car loan with them it bundled the amount owed+ what i thought was my last interest payment. this should have been the end of it since it was supposed to have been entirely paid off as per the loan contract. unbeknownst to me i owed more in interest that never reflected in the payoff amount, so i do feel a bit CHEATED in having signed that contract that was supposed to eliminate the debt but didnt entirely pay it all. they are just lucky it is a small manageable amount or i would REALLY be up in arms. (this is where they are irresponsible in allowing the system to have this flaw) it only reflected PART of the interest owed in the final payoff. they should have shown the entire balance + ALL interest and it should have been paid in its entirety with the refinance. it took several people to figure out what was going on, and even then it was my own theory of the way i was making my payments and the few i knew may not have included the interest that was the problem and not the feeble excuses they were making. they didnt understand exactly how it happened only that it had something to do with interest being calculated later. to them all they cared about was he fact that i owed it, not how and why it wasnt reflecting correctly to start with which is what i wanted to know. the bank has lost credibility with me, i can't trust them to do what they say since i cant trust their system to show accurate payments. credibility goes both ways, they now have a 500 with me. i won't be doing business with them after this. i just wonder how many people pay off their debt with ohcu and walk away, only to be contacted by a debt collector later down the road for interest they never knew they owed since it does not show in the payoff amount AS IT SHOULD until weeks later. the only reason i found out is because i continued to bank with them and saw it reflect what i thought was a mistake. it is NOT bc they calculate interest after its all paid off, it is calculated every month like i knew it was. it should have added the tidbit of leftover unpaid interest to the payoff amount and it just didnt. that doesnt mean it hasnt already been being calculated the entire time and could have been shown all along. THAT is the flaw. for reference, i have a perfect payment history across the board. never missed a payment my entire life, i'm a model customer. if you are a business you WANT me in the door bc you know im good for anything i say. yet even i was blindsighted by the extra interest payment. i feel the bank should be held responsible for this since they didn't show the amount anywhere in the payoff and we had a contract to pay the entire debt off with the refinance. it showed SOME of the interest but not all. although it is a very small amount and i will pay it, i feel the bank has a major flaw in their system and it is their fault it was not already paid. just know, im not a vindictive person. i COULD get really mean about this and i would have every right to be angry, but im going to just warn others to beware. i do believe a judge would have something to say about this, given debt information was withheld at the time i signed a contract stating the entire debt would be paid with my refinance.

Never been with a bank that refuses to help with overdraft fees. Especially if you provide them with proof of struggle during these times. Kimberly is not very empathic with customers and very rude.Taylor, Sorry you feel that our representative was not being empathetic. Can assure you that was not the case as tone is very hard to read when messaging back and forth. At the time you left this review they were still gathering all the information and passing it on to the proper channels. Someone will be reaching out to you as soon as possible to see what can be done to assist you as we always do with all of our membership.
