I like this place. Their happy hours are decent and most of the food is delicious... except their pizza. I was not a fan. I didn't like the dough and despite serving the pizza piping hot, the smoked mozzarella immediately congealed. It wasn't great. They also need more bar tenders... there were 2 when we went. They were hustling, but the service was still slow due to the amount of customers.

Always liked their pizza, specially the black sheep. This time decided to try a different one so I ordered a firework pizza with Italian sausage and pepperoni. Extremely Salty that after first slice I couldn’t bear anymore and I gave up the entire whole pizza. It was like they had poured a few spoon of salt in it. Not a good dinner tonight.

(Sep 2022) Update: they use cooked spinach (still tastes gross). They made their knots bigger so they stay softer. But I only order selectively. Got chicken parm which tasted good but it was slightly burnt. I go back more for the pizza rolls, knots, and parm when i get sporadic cravings, it’s close, and not as many options with similar menu without paying way more. I definitely miss NYC. Increased to 3 stars from 2. I at least appreciate their response and offer despite not having taken the offer. One good thing is the atmosphere with outdoor seating is always nice. (Jan 2022) I’ve been going to this restaurant every so often for three years. It’s good. BUT, I’ve been more and more wary of going because I’ve had some more off experiences. 50% chance my garlic knots are reheated and hard as a rock. Sauce can be pretty acidic so if you get heartburn, prepare. And recently, after taking few-months-long hiatus, I got a pizza that was missing a topping and they used some kind of frozen/canned spinach which tasted like fish!!! $16 personal pizza and I’m at my end of “bad days”. For not going very often the scale has tipped towards “not going back” with their cost-saving options. I’d be happy to pay more for guaranteed quality. Not hit-miss gambles of canned garbage.

Pizza was okay. However we lost our appetite and decided to leave after we saw our 3rd roach inside on our seats and on the walls. Food eventually made me sick later that night. Do not recommend
