Just called the Arlington office to report a dead dog on 395. The person who answered the call could not have been more polite or helpful. He referred me to the #77 number, and the woman who answered was equally responsive. She took the info and said someone would be out to pick up the carcass right away. The whole transaction took less than 5 minutes. It was excellent service.

Can't speak for those reviews about discourteous patrolmen/traffic control, but I called to ask about getting ink fingerprinted and can say the staffing was great and patient. The lady that answered was nice and thorough with the hours (operation hours and ink/digital vary by Areas so make sure you call ahead).

I don't know which station or District patrols I-95, but I've never in my life seen professionals who act like you guys! Very disappointed!!! Our vehicle broke down, the steering locked up and I did the best I could to get as far over as I could so my family and the general public were safe. You guys come 60 minutes AFTER we break down, AFTER my insurance company dispatched a tow truck, AFTER I set up flares and glow sticks to warn the drivers, AFTER I called a friend member to come and relocate my family off of the cold, dark, rainy interstate only to yell at me because I had ONE rear tire slightly touching the yellow line! Hey geniuses, when your alternator goes out, your steering locks!!! Your gear shift LOCKS!!!! I didn't see you guys getting out of your vehicle and popping flares to help. I didn't see you guys attempting to help me push the vehicle over the line!! You stayed nice and warm inside of your vehicle yelling at me over your patrol cars speaker system. You threatened that if my tow truck doesn't arrive within the next 15 minutes, you will call a state contracted tow truck AT MY EXPENSE to get rid of my vehicle from YOUR highway!! I'm disgusted!!! NEVER AGAIN will I EVER support you!!!! I regret every penny I ever sent you within the last twenty years!! EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!!

I am a Pennsylvania resident going to Virginia for vacation and called to double check that they accepted our concealed carry permit still, and the lady on the phone was polite and confirmed that they do accept it.
