Do not bring your birds in for a nail trim, unless you want to be charged for a full on exam. I just got a bird recently and took her for her first nail trim. I called to make an appointment and specified that I just wanted a nail trim. A day before I even got a reminder call for my birds nail trim. I arrived to my appointment, had 3 different people that worked there specify that it was just a nail trim. the doctor came into the room and did a full exam on her when I just had one done last month. I was not aware this was unusual as this was my first time bringing her in for a nail trim. I was then charged for a full on $64 exam when all I wanted was a $18 nail trim. Called later and was told the doctor has to be present since birds tend to be more skittish, so I will be charged for having the doctor present. This was never explained to me when I made the appointment or when I arrived. Absolutely absurd. Will not be back.
