Since I don’t have a car, and ride my bike everywhere, they would not accept my metal. Even with Identification. I really needed that money for my kids. In the country, common people save scrap from around the house (broken appliances, motors, pipes) and sell it as a product of dealing the great depression. Supposedly at this shop, only people who drive deserve to be able to do this.

Depends,for stripped clean copper 2$ a lb. for insulated #1 1.40 ish and for like extensions cords it’s between 50-30 cents a lb, it changes depending on the national price of copper at the moment
Unfortunately we do not recycle appliances at this time so your best bet is to seek out a steel recycling drop off center

Hi Nicholas, We do accept tvs monitors and towers. We pay for the towers and charge to properly dispose of the tvs/monitors.
Unfortunately we do not accept Styrofoam as we are a metals recycling facility. Contact Waste Pro or your local waste hauler for more information on where to dispose of it.
We purchase aluminum rims but the tires must be removed. We do not purchase rubber tires

Yes we do, however, FL law states that you must have proof of ownership (Title of the car it came off of or letter from the auto-body shop that did the work) in order to sell them to us

We do recycle aluminum boats, but if you bring in the entire boat you do need the title for it otherwise you would have to cut the boat up.

You will be paid 30 cents for every 1 lb. of aluminum cans brought in. They pay you for weight, not individual cans.
