I try not to write bad reviews but I'll make an exception in this case. We are new to FL and pools and Bobbins was recommended to us. We went out of town and got a picture from a neighbor showing us our pea green pool. They promised to fix it and two weeks later it was clear but the pool always looked "dirty". Talked to our guy and he had no clue what the problem might be. Went away and you guessed right came back to a green pool again. That was enough so we parted ways. New guy takes one look at the pool and says my filter needs to be replaced before he will touch it. Brings a new filter installs it and cleans the pool and it is crystal clear. Shows me the old filter insert and it is the wrong size for the filter. Bobbins' owner was here twice through this saga and he never suggested any material changes. My thought is they might have gotten to big to fast, or they don't care.

I contacted Bobbin yesterday to discuss a pool heater and an estimate. I received a call from one of the installation people. He was in the area and was at my house in minutes. He gave me a great price on a 125,000 BTU Gulf Stream heater. It was installed the next morning. Great company to deal with and a tremendous response time.

My pool is now 19 year old and never gave me a serious problem. But recently the skimmer valve was sucking air and the filter system was running inefficient. On a reference from a friend of mine I called Bobbin Pools and asked them for a quote on the repair. When the technician provided me with a "damage assessment" I was afraid I was in for some mayor blood letting. Surprise: the entire 3-valve replacement (skimmer, bottom and vacuum) was below $240.00. I left a message asking when they could repair it and NEXT DAY, when I came home it was already done. It works perfect. I can highly recommend Bobbin Pools for their excellent work and fast response.
