The staff at pet pantry loves animals and are supportive of them. We adopted our new cat Ethel from them and she's been joy in our house. We were new in adopting and they were more then helpful and patient we were looking. They told us everything we need to know to take care of cat and had many wonderful personnel pet stories. We have to give big thanks to Steve Pizzo. He on numerous occasions helped answer all our questions, made the adoption easy and smooth, and followed up with us & Ethel. You can't go wrong here, they take care of all their adoptions medically and socially. All they want are happy new pet owners and happy new homes for their rescues.

Highly recommend adopting from the pet pantry! Steve went above and beyond meeting me after hours to adopt Spazzy. Steve had prepared a carrier and food for Spazzy making the process that much easier. Spazzy is having fun exploring her new home thanks to you, Pet Pantry!

Very pleasant and prompt experience. Had the 4 kittens I raised all 'done' in one day and it was seamless. I'm so glad there was a cost effective option allowing me to provide for my 4 fur children (:

Under renovation and 1 1/2 year waiting list for surrender but does help with food for your pets so you can keep them instead of surrendering them ,also do spay neuter clinics but has long waiting list, they love animals but runs on donations and they do their best to help animals in need

Pet Pantry always accepts any and all donations....especially food. They also need cleaning products such as Clorox wipes, and office supplies....i.e., printer paper, paper clips, etc...
Yes they do and they are very compassionate.
They respond . You have to give them 1 or 2 days but they respond
Pet Pantry will guide you. They are kind, helpful ppl.
Like me I worked all my life had major surgery and can’t work any more I had to go to a food bank several times and I have 2 cats since they were kittens and they are my family they are 9 and 11. I do not see any clinics scheduled at this time for dogs. Pet Value in Lancaster has them every Saturday. Check their website.
Take the cat to the Pet Pantry. They will help u!
They do not have a date set up for the next clinic yet. They are looking to set the next one up for the beginning of the new year.
We do take dogs, we are foster based and would need to have a foster family available and your dog would have to pass temperament testing. Please visit our website petpantrylc.org and fill out a surrender form.
They offer this service at vaccine clinics and when the do spay or neuter surgeries. You can find info on these services on there web site petpantrylc.org
Hi Brenda, At this time we are limited to spay and neuter services to the general public.
I'm not sure. If you call them I'm sure they could help.
Hi Dexter, They have a food program, but you'll have to fill out an application on their website, petpantrylc.org
Yes, they send cones home with dogs who are altered there.
Most defiantly. They are cheaper with everything and this is part of the reason I go to them
Yeppers check the website they have an upcoming clinic
I believe they only do spay and neuter surgeries. They also provide shots. I believe that is it. Pets Emergency on Queen street can help with that if you do not have a primary vet.
Yes..u hafta call for appts
I’m having the same issue :(
They do both. Check out there website
Not sure. I would go on there Facebook website or call. Hope that helps
Idk im sorry but call them and ask it dosent hurt
No i dont think so if u call pet value they have a dr come n @ a discount on ahots
Sometimes it's hard to get hold of them on the phone. I had my girl pup spayed there, but had to stop in to make the appointment. Could not get things straight on the phone. Also they don't keep them overnight so you have to drop them off and pick them up on the same day. Good luck with your new baby.
Mayb on line
I dont think you could make online payments, you might have to go to them on 741just ask joe take a ride
Emma, you should call Pet Pantry directly. I'm sure they'll be able to point you in the right direction. If they can help, your cat(s) will be put up for adoption. But they do have a limited admission.
Call the pet pantry right away and tell them what is going on. They may be able to help.
You can try the pet pantry 717-983-8878 or furever home rescue 717-560-6400. I'm not sure if they have room .
Not sure. I stopped in and made my appointment. I couldn't get hold of them either.
No, the Pet Pantry does not accept owner surrendered rabbits.
Around $ 150 but you have to call to confirm.
They could probably use more cages they have a thrift shop on site
Give them a call.
No they don't. There is 1 in mountville Renee's. Reasonable & nice.
I don't think so. As Aracellis mentioned. Give them a buzz. They are very nice ppl who work there.
Pet pantry is fantastic....the vet there also teaches the vet tech assistants at CTC in Willow st. Plus their rates cant be beat
It would be best to call them or stop in ... I think they are backed up right now but if you explain your situation and the dire need of it they might be able to find fosters for them. I hope you can find them homes, I'd help but I have 7 rescues myself and a dear cat of mine passed away a week ago
Yes but you should call or stop in to see if they have space , they are a no kill shelter unlike the humane league and the aspca/spca. I would help but right now I am at max capacity with 8 recuse cats. Knowing this happens breaks my heart, I'm sorry that it's happening to you guys, I hope you can find a good home for them.
It is not a kennel for rent. The pet pantry is a nonprofit organization which does an amazing job of taking care of pets in the community. That said they are not a kennel to take partial of full responsibility of ones pet as a rental.
I normally wait until they are 2-3 months old at least. You should call for information on prices.
Car neutered? That's a new one. Lol
We are working on bingo for November now. Join in for meeting Tuesday Sept 18 at 6pm at the pet pantry.
Yes they will gladly take any and all donations.
You have to be at least 18 to volunteer .
I'm sorry but unless they have changed their policy recently they don't do routine checkups. As far as I know they'll help you out if something is wrong but you have to go to your main vet first. Example: my cat had a string around his tongue that I didn't know about I took him to a vet, they find the problem, months later he was pawing at his mouth again and had lost weight I called Pet Pantry and explained to them what was going on. I was told that I could bring him in for teeth cleaning and oral exam they found 3 teeth that were cracked and ran his blood work finding out he had a thyroid problem that he needed meds for. So they will help but because of their limited staff they have to have you get checked by your own vet first. There is a place in New Holland that is very good. I forget their name though. Stay clear of VCU Smoketown though their management has been questionable since last year.
Ok cool thanks I'm goin to go there then thanks so much awesome thanks everyone I'll call them
The rabbit hated me for life and tried to kill me in my sleep.
Yes. Very well from what I know of
My understanding is that you have to take your pet to your vet & see what they are recommending. Then, they might be able to assist you in helping your pet. Contact the Pet Pantry for instructions. (I think every community needs a Dr Jeff from Animal Planet!)
No, it depends on size, neuter or spay. Dog Services Neuter: Up to 40 lbs $135.00 41 to 80 lbs $150.00 81 to 100lbs $170.00 Over 100lbs $210.00 Spay: Up to 35lbs $160.00 36 to 75lbs $185.00 76 to 100lbs $ 210.00 Over 100lbs $250.00

We had four of them fixed a few weeks ago. It was $30 each plus $10 each for shots. Their web site should have current information.
