Horrible experience. I absolutely do not recommend this Dr. I am a disabled veteran with severe PTSD. On the day of my appointment which I took off of work to schedule, he cancelled my appointment due to his office dropping aetna insurance. I had no previous notice that my insurance was not covered. I received an email stating my insurance was no longer accepted the same morning. If the office had trouble contacting me the email could've been sent a week prior. If I had not called in to the office to prepay my copay 1 hour prior to my appointment I would not have known he cancelled my appointment. As a mental health provider it seems he would be more considerate and sympathetic to the need for consistent follow up care.

This has been prolly the worst Dr's office I've ever had. 1st appt was 2 hrs later than it was supposed to be before I even got called back. Nothing but issues and excuses when it came to getting rxs refilled. Constantly had to call and battle with Dr's office to get refills put in. CVS would send over countless requests via fax, email, and phone only to have the Dr's office tell me they never got them. Ran out of meds frequently because of this. Last interaction was the best one yet. Called because I was almost out of my meds. Week later still hadn't heard back. Called again and left another voicemail. Dr Called me back about 30 min later to tell me they had dropped me as a patient because they hadn't seen or heard from me in a while. Was never called once by office to schedule a follow up or even to check and see why they hadn't heard from me. DO NOT GO HERE!

this is the worst psychiatrist i have ever seen in my entire life. pulled me off of my medications to then never return phone calls OR answer their phone. the staff is horrendous as well as the doctor. save yourself the money and time as this place should be shut down. if you’re looking to make your mental health even worse, this is the perfect place for you

A rare find! My experience helping a family member with BPD has been very frustrating. We are talking 15+ years where he has found no connection with anyone, mostly finding pill pushing medical managers who rely on short conversations and prescription refills . Not here. They have been the first my family member has felt a connection with. He told me how much he liked them. They have been the first to get him to consider therapy and offer hope of growth and change. Communication has been excellent. They have been promptly responsive to questions and concerns and thoroughly explained treatment options. Most of all they have been caring and kind. I strongly recommend them. Thank you all!

Hi Stephen. Our practice does not accept Medicaid or Anthem HK+. Please call our office for a list of local offices that do accept Medicaid or Anthem HK+
Hello Christine. We take most Anthem, Aetna and Cigna plans. If you will not be using insurance, the fees depend on the services and the amount of time spent in the session for psychotherapy. The doctor and his clinical staff do prescribe controlled substances. Please call 540-479-1319 for more information.
