What an amazing place. My son participated in a STEAM program through CAPAC at the Hylton Performing Arts Center this summer. The production of Akeelah and the Bee was nothing short of amazing. These young people worked for five weeks learning their lines, building the set, building robots and learning how to produce a show. They worked very hard to accomplish this goal. The production was awesome and the kids did such a great job. The people at the Hylton Performing Arts Center were encouraging, welcoming and really took the time to teach the kids. If there is a performance at the Hylton that you are interested in get your tickets and you won't be disappointed. The theater is beautiful. Not a bad seat in the house. The decor is gorgeous and they are close to several restaurants so you can have a bite to eat before or after the performance.

Love this venue. We've been to several events here over the years. This was the first time the Gregory Theater was setup for a play. We enjoyed The Pied Piper Theaters Moana Jr. What an awesome production. The kids were amazing. Far beyond what we expected. They truly enjoyed themselves and we look forward to seeing more productions here in the future.
