The park is fun and the cabin was great. Nice to have AC when you're camping. It's a fun litte place to visit. With the Mini Train right next door and all the ruins, you won't be bored.

My family and I stayed here for a long tournament weekend. It should be noted when you put the address in your GPS it will take you down the road behind the campground, just follow the signs on the main road. Let me just say, this campground has the CLEANEST bathroom and shower facilities I have ever seen at a campground. There is also a code provided when you check in to access the bathrooms, which overs a piece of mind for safety. There was an awesome little path to the back of the park where there is a train, concession stand, and small arcade like area. This was not open when we were there but we were able to explore and walk around this beautiful property. The site we stayed at was right along a privacy fence to private homes? That is a guess, there was a rooster which was nice to hear and partly see through the fence. The price for full hookup was well below what I expected. There is even a small grassy area for kids to play games which is nice they can move around without invading other peoples campsites. I would not suggest the surrounding area of the campground for exploring. The surrounding city has a high crime rate and I would not suggest wandering at night. We did go the beach which was nice, but the drive through the neighborhoods to get there were very suspicious. If you are looking for a great price in a nice area, pick Eden Springs, you will not be disappointed.

I'm not sure what provoked me to give such a low rating 5 years ago (I gave 2 stars) but I'm here to correct that huge mistake. 5 stars for how well this place is maintained. There's so much to learn with every visit. That said, I would …Thank you for taking time to review us Nikki! Mini train rides are currently closed for the season, but the RV Park is open and people are welcome to walk in the park and valley areas during daylight hours. Closed at dusk. We will reopen in May at Blossomtime and again later for Memorial Day train rides Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 pm. Look for us on Facebook for more updates.

Basic RV park at an amazing historic site! we parked our RV in the tent camping area and had a lot of space which was great. The bathrooms were clean and the place was pretty quiet at night. …Thank you for staying with us Lydia. Glad to hear that you explored the Historic Park as well!
