Great location off the side of the road to eat your breakfast, lunch or dinner. Stunning views of the river whether you want to watch the sunrise or see a shuttle launch.

The hurricane did it in. They are rebuilding boat ramps and other projects who knows what priority this fall into I suppose it is waiting for FEMA funds . Rita Prichard may be the one to ask.
