The owner, Ms. Kathy B., her staff, Stacy, Lani, Curtis, Matt, Nico, and the housekeeping staff (sorry if I failed to mention anyone by name!) WERE BEYOND, BE-YOND, PHENOMENALLY AMAZING!!!!! Their extreme professionalism, care, sincere concern, and assistance (AND IT WAS A LOT) WENT ABSOLUTELY ABOVE, BEYOND, AND FURTHER!!! I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL ENOUGH... I JUST CANNOT... IT WAS THAT GREAT!!! This hotel is clean and all amenities were provided (including a bath seat and wheelchair for a handicapped room!) I am SO, SO GRATEFUL for ALL of their extreme accommodations while I had to spend back-and-forth time at the Animal Hospital directly across the street! Our length of stay was unknown at check-in and the entire staff ensured us that we would NOT need to worry about yet one more thing! We were welcomed to stay as long as we needed!!! BEST.HOTEL.STAFF.&.STAY.ANYWHERE... EVER!!!♡

We were told the hotel was recently remodeled, however the drywall tape on the ceiling in our room was hanging down, bathroom door did not latch shut and the air conditioner made an awful sound all night. The bathroom also had some pain missing from the wall and the floor was wavy when you walked on it in stocking feet.

I am a travel coordinator for a studio movie filming in a nearby big city and I had to arrange for last-minute (less than 10 days from our expected stay) accommodations for my crew of 56 people. Ms. Kathy and her staff went above and beyond to prepare for my group's stay. Everyone was extremely communicative, very receptive (to changes, etc), and exceptionally kind - it made my job much easier with them in my court. Between the service, hospitality, and billing I had not one single issue (and if you're in the biz long enough you know, there's usually always a problem, big or small). Thank you Sycamore Inn! I highly recommend this property for both large groups and smaller reservations.

Went back to Miami for a reunion, had to make reservations months in advance. Older style motel, recently renovated. Very clean. Staff, especially Curtis, was extremely friendly and courteous. Extensive self-serve breakfast. Easy walking distance to Uptown and East Quad.
