Not much to do, but it was a hood 15 or so minute walk. Saw an Osprey with a fish in its talons. We also brought our bikes and rode the 2 miles to the end, disappointed that the trails were closed.

Yes. On a leash I believe.
The Boardwalk is about 2 miles in land. It is about 1 mile in length, and goes in a circle. You see alot of vegetation, some birds and if you are lucky you might see a gator.
Yes it is registered on all trails for Dogs on a leash. I take my cat on a leash there, she loves it, except for the taxidermied Florida Panther on the inside.
Not at Briggs, but Rookery Bay does kayak tours on Rookery Bay at the end of Shell Island road.
