Darlene and Bill just make the entire process of fitting and maintaining hearings aids so easy. If you’ve asked “could say you that again” one too many times, it may be the right time to invest in yourself and use the wonderful professionals at Audiology & Hearing Care. Hearing well was so smooth I shouldn’t have waited!

I have been wearing hearing aids for 20 years and these amazing people are the first to have met all of my hearing needs. I didn’t realize that I was not hearing as well as I could be until I went through their rigorous testing and they wouldn’t give up on me until I Was Thrilled. Thank you Audiology and Hearing Care for giving me my “hearing” back! Love you guys!

Questions & Answers

How often should I get a hearing test?

Just like an annual physical, you should get regular hearing tests every 1 to 3 years. If you are exposed to loud noise frequently or work in a field where noise is common, you should err on the side of getting tested more frequently. If you notice any hearing loss, schedule a test immediately. Untreated hearing loss can lead to other health problems.

Do you have a hearing aid that does not need battery changes will it be rechargeable on another device? Do you have a hearin aid that does not need the wirw up and around theear?

Bill Ballew | Sep 26, 2019

Good morning Sylvia, The short answer to both of your questions is yes. Rechargeable hearing aids have come a very long way and now there are several great options we can show and talk to you about. Hearing aids that do not wrap around the ear are also available. Of course a persons hearing dictates which type of hearing aid is best. We would be happy to talk to you about all the options. You would meet with Darlene Ballew Au.D. and she has been working with hearing aids for 30 years. Give us a call and we will schedule an appointment so she can see how we can best help. Have a wonderful day. Bill Ballew

I have Siemens hearing aids that I got from my audiologist in MN. One of the battery "doors" came apart. Is this something you can fix? Barb B

Dear Barbara, It is possible that we can take of it in house. Is the hinge pin still in it? What style of hearing aid is it? We won't really know until we can see it. If it does need to be sent in, we can also help with that. Give us a call and schedule a time so we can look at it. Thank you, Bill & Darlene Ballew 239.221.0610
