There are some ponds but I have never personally fished them. The creek on the west side of Lafayette Loop has been known to have catfish in it when the water is flowing. Which it is flowing right now. Hope that helps. Also Mallory Swamp WMA that is located next to Lafayette Forest also has lots of canals and has some good fishing.
