we just went in for a simple x ray. we were told to fast our dog 12 hour before the procedure, that's fine. We drop her off at 8AM she last ate at 5PM. We think it's going to take possibly an hour at most it took a wopping 10 HOURS for her to be finished. No food, no water, sitting in a crate. Dog has several nervous conditions that the vets were well aware during treatment and she was still handled horribly. We were told we would be given updates on her progress and when to pick her up. I had to call them multiple times a day and was given several excuses on why it took so long. a simple x ray cost 817 dollars. our dog has not been right since, the past two days she's been drowsy, woozy, unaware, and now she's started having diarrhea. I've been playing phone tag with them, calling to complain and ask what happened and what's wrong with her. I got the voicemail twice in the middle of the day, then after half an hour finally got through to a lady who sounded like she couldn't care less. Concerns were handwaved away as not their fault because they gave her "the standard amount of medication" and so on. I was told that they could scheduele a follow up to fix it. Despite this clearly being their fault because she was fine before the visit, they still have the nerve to charge us an additional 150 dollar for another appointment, where they probably won't even find out what the issue is. This is still ongoing days later and they don't seem in any hurry to help unless money is involved. Update: Called them about the diarrhea and was told that they were willing to let her come in today for a measly 100 dollars despite it being 150 yesterday when I called. I'm not going to traumatize my dog further so you can give her some vitamins through an IV and probably not even solve the problem. We will help her get through this with some TLC and hope it passes, or go to another vet to fix your mistake if it doesn't. the way this place is run is despicable. Never again.
