I called to ask if I could fill a prescription here for flea medicine that my vet was out of stock on. I was told by the very rude person who answered the call that if my pet was not already a patient there that I could not fill the prescription. Won't call again.

Purchased a puppy package with spay. My dog is giant breed. 1st they try to upsell a surgery to prevent the stomach from flipping causing bloat. Then when you make the appointment for spay the vet tech says they will do the spay but cannot guarantee that the dog will survive as they only tie off and do not use cautorization in surgery. So, contacted Corporate because who in their right mind would bring their dog in for a routine spay being told their dog may not survive. Corporate was unwilling to adjust the pricing from puppy package without spay saying they would still do they procedure. Never once saw the actual vet despite asking to speak with them. Told vet was busy seeing patients and any questions could be answered by the vet tech. Needless to say my dog will not be spayed at Banfield even though I have paid for the spay and corporate will not refund for the procedure. I have been a Banfield customer for over 10 years and the quality of service went from 5 star to 1 star. Not everything can be blamed on covid.

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 22, 2020

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 22, 2020
Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 22, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
