Hi Matthew- The original Jacksonville Suns (AAA Internaiontal League) moved to Norfolk, Virginia for the 1969 season. In 1970 a new version of the Suns began play (AA Southern League). From 1985-1990 the team changed it's name to the Expos and then back to the Suns from 1991 through the 2016 season. In 2017 the team once again changed names to become the Jumbo Shrimp.
