Went yesterday for dip and a pedicure. Pedicure was great, dip was horrible. First place I’ve been to where my nails were not soaked off after filing. She filed down to my nails and damaged the top layer (I could see little dips in my actual mail and it felt like my nails were burning as she was drilling. I asked about soaking and she proceeded to file. She also could not properly shape my nails with the dipping powder. When she was done I had to ask her if she was going to shave them down more, and I told her I hated them because of how thick. Her excuse was “because it’s dipping powder and not gel polish”. I informed her I’ve been dipping for years, and if she couldn’t shape them properly to remove them and do gel polish. My nails were done yesterday! And they already look like it’s been a week. It may have been the owner (an older lady). If you like dip/sns/ acrylic DO NOT GO HERE! Or maybe ask for someone else who specializes. I will not been back because she had the audacity to charge me for those ugly nails.
