Ton of fun, just be careful if you're hiking. (watch for bikers) The singletrack in phase 3 is great to blast

Fantastic trail system here. Lots of fast and flowy single track. Nothing really technical although there are a lot of roots. Phase 1 and 2 are pretty straightforward, and Phase 3 is a little more challenging with some pretty steep short climbs. There is nothing here though that an average intermediate rider couldn't handle in any of the trails. Great place to ride!

Where has this walking/hiking trail been all my life! ha. If you don’t like a lot of bugs attacking you, love to walk in the woods w barely any sun peeping through the forest (ha) & go somewhere local and free = this is for you. I’ve mastered it already so here are basics, and yes it’s *not marked that well as some have said; but I got you, follow my directions to a T! Great for beginners & moderate walkers/hikers. TURN ON YOUR CELL GPS, mine works perfectly in the woods. Then you can view the route and not worry about getting lost. ~Park at the 8 spaces-ish lot on HAWKINS RD. Don’t worry, you can park on both sides of the street, there is plenty of room & everyone does it. ~You’ll see TWO path entrances next to each other, take the one on the LEFT/it goes straight. (The Right one looks like it’s going up). ~The trail I go takes me about 45 min non-stop to walk it, this is what I’ll be describing. I think there are 3 benches along it & plenty of downed trees to sit on for breaks. If you take the other *left turns, I’m sure it’s longer/you could get lost. ~THREE times the trail will have left/right options. ALWAYS TAKE THE RIGHT PATH OPTION. Then boom, you’ll be back at the parking lot coming down that initial *right path entrance I mentioned. ~Your sense of direction will get thrown off, I think b/c you can’t see the sky much. But that’s ok. ALWAYS TAKE THE RIGHT PATH OPTION. Even if the trail marker says N, but the *right says S, take the *right/south. Just trust me. ha ~For starters, the GPS will show you are walking DIRECT West, *but don’t worry, b/c I think that 2nd RIGHT path turn will start to go up/north, then the 3rd RIGHT turn will come down/northeast (the old cars are nearby). It will take you back exactly to the parking lot. (Remember, 3 rights!) ~Re: bikers, the path is wide enough to walk/hike w bikers passing. And your legs are NOT touching the side brush to get ticks on it. Really a fabulous path.

Very nice single track bike trail. OK for hiking, just be on the look out for bikes (like me)

Very hilly, for bikes, hikers, not walking

Can you walk here? Or is it really just meant for bikes?

I recorded about 7 miles and most people were hiking. I initially hiked the trail beforehand and then felt comfortable to bike it.
