Dr Dean and the entire staff did an outstanding job evaluating and treating our cat, Gibby. The cost was reasonable considering the level of care and expertise they provide. Gibby recovered 100% following treatment. I won’t hesitate to return. Thank you!!

SAFE YOUR PETS AND DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!!! I brought my 16 year old Pomeranian twice here and the last time they insisted I euthanized. The doctor was very rude and told me how did I not notice her stomach was distended, when I brought her to you a month prior for a check up and nothing was mentioned, just that she is old and has very little time left. I asked them to giver her pain medicine while I said my goodbyes and they kept coming in the room rushing me.. I am so sorry my sweet Mimi I shouldn’t had brought you here 😭 RIP 🦁❤️

Super long wait times. But professional staff. They would be better with an additional doctor on staff or call to help with load

If it would allow me to do 0 stars I would … they are all about you spending the money here … I was here for 7.5 hours for them to tell me nothing was wrong with my pet and she had “fleas” …I was talked to like I was dumb and didn’t know nothing and neglected my animal. Dr was very rude.! They said I needed to follow up with a vet 3-5 days after her visit here and I could come back ..Never again will I go there!

This is an top notch emergency, surgical specialty center. Generally your vet sends you here for services they are unable to perform for whatever reason.
Our poodle was cared for by Dr. Yeh. He had a mass on his optic nerve that made the eye bulge out badly. They were not sure it was cancer, or if it was, whether they could get it all with surgery. It turned out to be cancer, as Dr. Yeh (an opthalmologist) feared. She also warned us to look for neurological signs that it had gone to his brain. Unfortunately, the neurological signs came on suddenly and all at once. He was in such pain and crying that we had to take him to be euthanized. It broke our hearts, but it was the best thing we could do for our Sweet Boy.
Yes most of the doctors and techs are the same
Im not sure.i had to stay in the car.my son took my dog to the front door. Your not aloud inside cause of c Ovid.
Google mobile vets in DE. We got a great husband/wife team of vets.
Sorry but you'd have to call our affiliates in PA at one of the VSEC offices. They have an office in Philadelphia, Conshohocken, and Levittown.
Only through the opthomology service. The rest of the hospital does not great birds or other exotic pets
Not nearby. There are the dog parks at Glasgow Park and the one in Middletown, and in MD there's the one at Iron Hill Park, but none of those are particularly close. But, in case you're able to travel a bit, I thought I'd throw them out there for you 🙂
I've never had that procedure for my dogs but anything I've had their cost at least a $1000 if not more
I am just checking out the animal center recommended by my vet in Rehoboth Beach. First time I got on the computer to check it out before I call.
Wish I could help you. All I can say is that if a dog is restless when he would otherwise not be, it usually means something is not right. It could be something as innocent as an upset tummy, or it could be something much more serious. VSCD is open 24 hours for emergencies. If you think something is truly wrong, give them a call. They are great.
I was going to answer the same as the last. Dr. Gaeta and her staff of techs are great! My fur baby is currently undergoing treatment for lymphoma. He is not a friendly dog by any means, with other animals or people, but he loves her and the techs. Also, unless things have changed since my dog was diagnosed, Dr. Gaeta is the only oncologist in the immediate area. Good luck your pup!
Do you mean the rubbery nyla bones, or the edible kind? Our dog won't touch the rubbery ones, but loves the edible. She also likes Chewnola, Greenies, DentaStix, and DentaBones. The only non-edible 'bone' she likes is her giant Romp n Chomp bone (the ~7-8" one with a single channel in the middle for a Romp n Chomp stick). It's actually her favorite toy, she carries it around like a baby, and shows it off to visitors☺️ She's allergic to chicken, so we put DentaStix in the center at dinner, instead of the refill Romp n Chomp sticks. Good luck!
