Part of the Volusia County Public Library system, this small, out-of-the-way establishment is usually very quiet before school lets out for the day. Small numbers of patrons here. Don't be put off by the small tables and chairs which can make this seem as if it's exclusively a children's library, your patronage is also welcome. It's sometimes a welcome respite from the occasional shenanigans of the main library.

I am a regular patron at this branch. Been coming here for years. Love the atmosphere. Love the staff. They are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! Recently, the library did some "remodeling" of the tall workstation(s) area and it turned out GREAT!!!!! I'm not really one for change, but it turned out EXCEPTIONALLY well. More room, more up to date, more modern. I love it and I'm certain the other patrons will feel the same way. Seeing the new changes today has me in such elated mood. #BRAVO

I love going to that library because I have been going to the John Dickinson Library since I was a kid. The Librarian is very nice and very helpful. They also have a very good program for children that love to read.

Friendly staff, nice layout. The laptop station is set up with electrical outlets per seat and plenty of.space to do work.

Library Employee: Please call the library, if you already have an email address on file, we can email it to you and you can change it afterwards to fit your preference. If there is no email on file, then you will need to come into one of the libraries to get your password and to add an email address.
