It's a marsh-island with decrepit trees and some birds in the middle of a lake in the middle of some suburbs with an overlook off of San Jose Blvd. I'm not sure how the neighborhood feels about having the parks department denoting this lump of wet grass a park so tourists leave cars in their street... But, park at the seafood restaurant instead; and walk up the sidewalk.

A wonderful place to just sit quietly or fish by the shore. Not many benches, just one seat, but the view is lovely and the array of birds that can be seen, especially at dusk is a delight for any bird watcher. Afterwards, the nearby restaurants offer an assortment of food to eat and places to just hang out and chill.

This is one of those hidden gems in Jacksonville. The area surrounding it is quite nice, the small dam gives you place to sit and enjoy the view. Definitely a very nice place

What do you do here? Is it a park or a tourist attraction or what?

Watch birds, check out the fish, and eat and shop nearby. You want to park at the restaurant, or in the parking lot, next door. Don't feed them bread; birdseed or shrimp, if you ABSOLUTELY must. Fishing will attract them to your hook, bait, and line. Bring ur bi or monoculars.
