My son started attending in July 2020, although it was a different year, Primrose has gone above and beyond for the children to make sure they’re cared for and safe. All the staff has been superb! The early education standards are great and they evaluate the VPK students accordingly. Nothing but great things to say about Primrose, Dodie Pleiss (the owner) and the all the teachers/assistants that work there. We will miss Primrose undoubtedly as we leave for kindergarten.

When making the decision on where to send our three year old we took the process extremely seriously. After touring several schools in the area it was apparent that Primrose would be where we would call home. No school comes close to what Primrose offers; a safe learning environment that feels like home. Beginning preschool in 2020 with the uncertainly of COVID-19 and what sending our daughter to school would look like, I can’t imagine her being anywhere else! Not only does Primrose take every precaution to keep children, teachers and staff safe and healthy, the school is keeping you updated and connecting virtually through all mediums to still create a sense of community and togetherness despite such unique circumstances. We could not be happier!

My son started with Primrose School of Fleming Island in February of 2018 at 17 months. Chance will be 4 1/2 in March. As a single parent/mom who works full time with a demanding schedule, I cannot imagine our life without our Primrose Family. My son was potty trained there, knew how to count in Spanish by 3 years old, and has developed socially and academically beautifully. My heart is so full when I see Chance so happy when he sees the front office staff, the teachers he's grown up with there and his many friends. On top of all this, he was born with a rare medical condition that requires regular maintenance medication and a quick emergency response if he gets injured or very sick. I don't just leave Chance with anyone, and to trust a staff who cares for not just one child but many, MANY children, I can tell you the staff at Primrose take the children's health and well being very seriously. The staff have a timer on their phones set for 3pm for when Chance's medication is to be administered. Guess what? He always gets his meds! I get a phone call if they are unsure if Chance is acting "off" as we like to say. We talk through it and I make the call of the next step. Primrose School of Fleming Island is extended family to us, and I am so very thankful for what they provide my son and the peace of mind they provide me. Thanks Primrose, We Love You!
