A beautiful area to hike According to one of the rangers, you cross through 5 ecological zones on this hike. As you hike it is easy to see when things change. A great hike for all ages and for dogs Highly recommend an evening hike

I believe it was hiking trail only
Yes there are some signs (not a lot, but the trail is clear enough). I believe the full trail is about 3 miles.
Yes it's open. Trails may not be being maintained, but they were fine last week when I went.
