As a member of this congregation since 2012 ;Mount Vernon Place Untied Methodist has been one of the most welcoming,loving,conscious church I have experienced in my adult life. Though they have changed Pastors and Reverends since I’ve first become a member the mission stays the same and that is inclusiveness. Supporting the movements of fighting racial discrimination, biases in immigration , hate in the LGBQT community and all over equality and love that the Lord knows his children is capable of giving.

Are there any pictures of the interior over the years? I remember there was a chapel there too. I was only 6, and was attending the wedding of my brother.

Yes! There is a chapel inside - Bosley Chapel. If you go to the Church's website, there will be interior pictures there. I am a long time member and have my own personal photos.

There is a sunrise service at 7am on Easter Sunday. Then a community brunch in the park at 11am
