When you see another human being going through struggles, do you consider their need from afar or empathize with what they face? When a fellow Christian is suffering sickness or any other crisis, do you minister to them as you would yourself wish to be helped? That’s what the Bible teaches but isn’t the way of this “church.” If Jesus would love us enough to die for us and continue to care about our struggles, shouldn’t the church and its pastors love people in the same way? Not MCC. One thing you need to realize is people can show up for worship, pray, or give generously and still have a heart that is far from God, a heart that doesn’t sincerely seek to serve God over personal interests. If you need help and reach out for it, you will be shut out instead of loved deeply here. You will leave faithless, hopeless, and more broken than when you walked into this place. If you’re looking for hope or a loving community, don’t come here. If you’re suffering physically, mentally, or spiritually, don’t come here. They kicked me down until there was no fight in me left. Thanks to the mistreatment by this church and their “care pastor” Traci Olson, I left God behind.
