Yes they do offer one shot deals.If your case is in court, take court papers, lease, con Edison bill (if you pay electric and/or gas), pay stubs (last 4 if you get paid wkly, last 8 if you get paid bi-wkly) all birth certificates and social security cards for ALL persons living with you. If there's any other income within the household, you must bring proof, i.e: budget letter, award letter, pay stubs etc... It's the same process as if you're applying for a full cash assistance case.

I would suggest going down to ur local H.R.A. office as soon as possible. Like tomorrow, and request to speak with a SNAP, Representative. Hopefully they can explain why ur food stamps were taken. Sincerely, local guide, M.A.

Sadia go down to the food stamp office, located at 165 - 08 88th Ave, Jamaica, NY 11432. When u walk in there are security guards, tell them that u want 2 apply for food stamps . It's right there on the first floor, the process is pretty quick,

Hello Ms.Preston in my personal opinion the best time, to go to H.R.A., is on Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Preferably in the morning. It's not that crowded at these times. I hope this information helps u find what ur looking for. MichaelCotton

Food Stamps can be aquired on-line now, try the nyc.gov to find your center...unless your requiring something else. Go on MONDAY.

Have them show you proof of the person using your address by some sort of mail. Also you can go there and talk to the supervisor and let them know that you didn't give that person permission to use your address also let them know that the person doesn't live there
