Ashuelot River Park

Beautiful and (mostly) well kept park. Though it's next to a busy road, it doesn't take long to not see it and tk barely hear the cars. Pretty walk bridge, tons of nice benches, and all with the small and slow Ashuelot river. Where I sat there was some cans and trash, but I was able to fit it in my small lunch bag and clean it up. Seemed to be an outlier.

A gorgeous little piece of nature nestled right in Keene! Easy water access. Beautiful dam. Water before the dam is nice amd still with access to the waters edge. Simple walking path that people of all ages can easily navigate. Picnic benches to relax on. Must see!

We sat and ate sandwiches on a bench. So quiet and serene but the gardens needed tending. Do volunteer groups still take care of the gardens, I wonder?

I think someone should patrol or walk this trail and the surrounding areas. The needles lying around is not attractive and are dangerous.
