This is a church in the Villages for retirees but all are welcome. There's a friendly atmosphere and if you like to sing and enjoy listening to hymns then you will enjoy the service. The Pastor is very sincere and preaches straight from the Bible. They have 2 services so you can come at a time that suits you. You can feel the presence of the Lord in the services.

Hi Kathy, Yes we are a Bible based evangelical church. We begin our week with amazing Sunday morning worship at 9:00 am & 10:45 am. We are continue to grow with Bible studies are offered throughout the week. Mid-week Wednesdays we share a fellowship dinner at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. You will find that here at First Baptist Church at The Villages, we are experiencing the promised Christian walk Sunday through Saturday. Come join us today.

Hi Loretta, That's a great question. Our choir, under the direction of Charles Foster, is Spirit filled indeed. This 100+ choir is comprised of brother and sisters in Christ who give tirelessly of the time and talents, complimenting the Bible based preaching of Pastor Bob Perry. Come to hear the word of God spoken plainly and be caught up in songs of hope and encouragement. Being part of a worship experience is more than being entertained.
