Narrow roads to get to camp. Trailer spaces were way to small, hard to park the trailer and spaces too close to the neighbors. The pool area was lovely as was the lodge and my Swiss, mushroom burger was excellent.

This is a great vacation spot. Cabins are nice and the scenery is beautiful. Park is very clean and staff is friendly.

So we simply couldn't pass up the 5 free night promo stay at good Ole ghost mountain r.v. resort. The catch is the only possible way to come back again is to fork over little over 10 grand and become a exclusive member. The park does have its perks. Security is a good Ole boy that drives around a suited rust bucket flatbed through the wee hours of the night just rumbling back and forth and back and forth. The melodic bellow of his pipes are most definitely sure to scare off any unwanted wildlife. The r.v. spacing is simply too close together as well. The road into this place is a one lane at best pot hole riddled ,blind cornered ," O Thank the Lord we finally made it" night mare. There kitchen does serve a tasty chicken fried steak. Decent menu prices and the maze of a place is very clean with hot showers and a sneaky little honeywagon that comes every other day to empty your black and gray water holding tanks with out even asking. All and all ghost mountain resort was a quiet and relaxing stay.So if I was retired and made r.v. ing my way of a permanent lifestyle this investment would be very beneficial. But until then thanks for the free stay ghost mountain. Cheers

You can go up for a free weekend if you're willing to see a sales pitch
It depends. If you are a member, within 24hrs. If through rpi, longer but not now. It's easy to get in.
I believe you get 2 nights free if you take the sales tour.
Super, but you may need membership. Call them first
Yes! They have a few spaces available that can accommodate.
The cabins cost $35 - $50 per night, depending on cabin size & membership.
No, sites only have power and water. No sewer, but they do have a truck that comes by every few days.
Yes and yes. There are hot showers and I know I saw ADA spaces.
Yes, as long as it stays on a leash or n a kennel and not run loose, there is also a little dog running arena for them to run and you are responsible for pickup of poop..
In some spots, yes they would. Be prepared though for the curvy road there.
It's owned by Colorado River Adventures, based in Arizona. They have many beautiful parks and offer memberships to fit your needs. Been members for many years, very satisfied. We love Ghost Mountain and KQ Ranch in Julian.
Depends on the roads going in to the call there check-in desk to see what the condition is at that time
Call CRA office
Its all good. A little narrow when your on last mile into Camp ground. But there are some turnouts if someone is coming from opposite direction...
No, not currently. But please keep in mind, that all Ca. forests are susceptible to an unexpected wildfire, any season of the year.
If you belong to the campsite they will pump your trailer out twice a week I believebut they do have a dump where you can dump on your way out of the campsite and is free
It was cold last weekend got couple inches of snow but it was warming up on mon when we leftdont know what Kirk was talking about it was nice.
No full hookups . They have water and electric at most sites but no sewer hookups. There is a pump wagon that comes around 3x a week.
