I trust Dr Bader, he's very good with caring for dogs, and is knowledgeable with rabbits as well, the only thing is since it's an emergency hospital you have to wait awhile to be seen

My 18 year old dog would not eat and was prancing around all day like he had to use the bathroom but could not. We took him in at night for the emergency service. His tongue was purple and he was losing consciousness. They administered a shot immediately, and within 5 minutes his tongue was back to normal and he was back to his normal self. He is an old dog, and we discovered this was caused by congestive heart failure. I am so glad we were able to take away his pain, and he is now on medication to assist with his condition.

A few months ago, I was moving overseas with my cats' and the airline asked for a document last second that I had not prepared. We called over 40 vets, and Shingle Springs was the only vet open and willing to work with us to get this done on a Sunday (the flight was Monday at 6am). The staff was accommodating, kind, and went out of their way to help us. One of our cats' had an accident in her kennel on the drive to them, and one of the front desk workers was kind enough to provide us with different tools to clean it out and make it comfortable for our cat. They were booked for the day, but made space for our appointment because of its' urgency. We were very thankful for those kindnesses.

My puppy was just like ur maddie i took her in and they told me she had an small infectio. In her tummy. They gave her antibiotics and she better now.
Love Shingle Springs vet! Another option for exotic animals might be Slate Creek vet near the El Doado Y.
Well it's a Saturday nite, so it would be an emergency visit. You'd have to call but it also depends on what's wrong with your kitty
