I really want to commend the Center for independent living for their assistant into converting my bathroom tub into a shower that would be an assistant to my granddaughter who is disabled a wheelchair-bound child they did a superb job and all of this service to me it was free but I know the service of them, was not: and I want to say thanks to all of you who played a part in helping with this project I am so godly proud of the way the project was done and would recommend them to anyone that have a disabled individual in their lives who need assistance. A job well done excellent service

Register with Central Florida Division of Blind Services and Lighthouse Central Florida. CIL mostly helps with hearing and movement related disorders. If your child needs a wheelchair, ramp, or an accommodation for hearing loss, CIL has several resources to help. Lighthouse and DBS are where you want to start for visual impairment accommodations and services.
