After reading the most recent comment about CWC, I have been moved to share my experience with this practice that I went to about a year ago. *This is a watered down version as some time has passed but the negative feeling is still there*. I decided to leave this practice after experiencing the worst bedside manner from the staff. During my first visit, the intake nurse was very rude. I took it as maybe she was having a bad day. She proceeded to speak to me in an unprofessional manner, and while snatching the blood pressure cuff off my arm, the velcro attached to my silk blouse, destroyed it and her response was "seems like you're not having a good day". I work at a medical practice, told my team about it. They almost didn't believe me. The doctor that I saw was professional. You will not get a touchy feely type but she was professional. Also, you will notice that some of the patients are treated better than others. For example, my husband wanted to come back with me to see the doc so he could help me with describing my symptoms. I was told no. Other women were walking back with their husbands, so we asked why. I was told they were allowed for maternal/pregnancy visits. That response alone hurt. For reasons I do not want to share. Needless to say I went to a much better doc's office where the staff is amazing, the doctor (Dr. Carrington) is even more amazing. The only positive comment I have for CWC in Winter Park is that its a nice modern office. That's it. Just because something has all the glitter and glam, does not mean its all gold. I will never go back nor recommend this place for new patients. It's not worth it.
