If you're looking for the quality of the Hilton you're not going to find it here. That being said it's a pretty good place for its market segment. The rooms are old and dated, but my room was clean and orderly. The bed was comfortable. The plumbing fixtures were old, but clean and everything worked like it should. I liked the keyless entry for the rooms. No fumbling around with a magnetic key card; just type in your code. The desk clerk was friendly. The lady I made reservations with on the phone was friendly. I was working in town for a couple days and this motel was convenient. I would stay here again. It was quiet and I got a good night's sleep. It's across the street from several restaurants and a grocery store, so you can just walk across the street to get what you need.

Owner very nice! King room with jacuzzi tub was pricey but did it anyway. It could use update and new mattresses. That being said because of the hospitality I would for sure go again.

If I could give negative stars, I would give -10. The room had about 40 waits of lighting. I am assuming they keep the lights dim as to discourage the patron from seeing how seriously gross everything is the room, the walls are chipped plaster with stains, the carpet is stained, The bedding had stains, the bathroom has not been remodeled In decades-and yes roaches!! The entire experience was completely unsettling and stressful. I only had the room for the day. I would not sleep i this place overnight, even for money.

It's not the Hilton, but for a locally run business they put their money where it needs to go. Remember this is not the Hilton where they have millions to spend. I lived there for roughly two months, the rooms were cleaned daily. I even helped many times as they hired new ad a part time worker when I lost my job. They strip all bedding and washed them. They clean everything thoroughly with bleach and disinfectants. Ive worked in a hotel before and their employees didn't have the care that the employees at the Tecumseh inn have. During my time employed, never once did I see any sign of bugs on or in not around any of the beds. So overall you have caring owners and employees and sanitary cleaning ethics, and bug free.... They genuinely care and try and that makes up for any outdated or minor repairs they need that if brought to attention they would do their best to make you happy. It's not the Hilton it's a small business locally owned hotel and people should remember to give them a break they aren't billionaires. They are local people like ourselves and things have to get budgeted.
