I was hoping to recycle cardboard. I'm not too happy when the gentleman there asked me to put them all in the trash. They don't have a separate bin for cardboard or plastic.

I had to argue for 1 minute to put my cardboard in the recycling and not the trash. The gentleman tried telling me the crusher cant take boxes that arent broke down, then he told me putting them in the trash is just as good. Other people there work hard and make this place function! Good job guys.

It's less crowded on Wednesday and Thursday. They're doing as well as they can. It's a small place with too many folks using it. This area needs another location.

Yes they open @ 7am
No, you may be able to use the landfill in Oxford. But, it seems their bin is always full. A couple of times each year the county has a recycling day that includes electronics. I don't know when that is next scheduled.
