These guys are some dummies. Don't send me a later about my grass I cut 8 days ago with rain the last 4 days. Half the neighborhood grass needs to be cut. What has HOA done for the community in my 12 yrs. Take down the kids playground for a dog park. Dogs mean more than humans. Just idiots

I live in Wellington in Haslet (Fort Worth). I have been very happy with the community living there for a year now. It is well maintained for sure with nice walkways and lit up and sprinklers keeping the grass in the common areas nice (except for the playground which should be lit up in the evening for kids to play)! The ponds are always up and running with the fountains making the entrance look inviting. The new HOA Manager Alisha seems to be great! Very good communication and seems to really take the feedback of the community and do what she can to make the community an enjoyable place to be! That's excellent to see and know you have someone to communicate with on things. Obviously she can't control everything. I would love for the pool to be open later in the evening till atleast 11pm in the summer, and for them to have a jacuzzi as well, but we knew those things when we moved in so it's not bad- just something to know in advance. A newsletter goes out and lists the events like food trucks and events at the clubhouse which have been increasing recently which is really nice to see- recently a lobster truck which was awesome! The HOA does have some restrictions obviously for everyone's best interest- some can seem overly restrictive like only certain plants etc in the front or no turf grass in the front (which would make everything look nicer- not worse) but those are minor things-- but coming from an area that did not have a HOA to manage the expectations at all- that is much worse all together!!!! Without an HOA, some People have overgrown grass all the time- cars parked wherever and whenever, houses with broken fences, windows, etc. for the longest time creating eyesores and bringing down resale value as well. The HOA just really makes sure that houses and the community is kept up well, keeps somewhat of a uniform look (versus green doors, yellow brick, purple shutters) and desirable for residents and future residents. It is always appreciated when a grace period is given for repairs and things like that- sometimes a lawn mower breaks and you need a few weeks to get a new one or an emergency happens and you are out of town...whatever it is...but as long as those types of situations are managed reasonably and the HOA understands that things happen and one might need a few weeks, there should be no issue. In my experience things have been positive and handled like this in the past year. Very nice place to live- its diverse, welcoming, people are quiet but seems lively and fun as well. Only thing I've heard is that people need to slow down when driving so maybe some speed bumps could help. Would recommend living here- great community and HOA. Super close to schools, right off 287 for easy access to shopping, downtown Fort Worth, a fire station right next to the community as well.

I have lived in Heritage for over 15 years. Previoius staff of First Service Residential were extreamly difficult to deal with. This new group espically Robert Solecki and Noleo Pagaduan "Pags" are amazing! Easy to work with, extreamly helpful! And instead of saying no to everything like the previouis group these two have bent over backwards to help me and provide answers to my questions. Very refreshing, and a pleasure to work with! Thanks guys! I look forward to working with you in the future. Semper FI!

This company is a joke. They take our money and do nothing for it. They are the main reason we sold our house and moving back to Florida. Good luck Somerset 🙏

Questions & Answers

Are homeowners allowed to install fences 8 feet or taller?

You would have to ask for your specific HOAs guidelines on fencing, the Architectural Comity could answer that for you.
