It has declined so much! I have been coming to this campground over the last 25 years. It used to be beautiful, fun for the kids and booming. Now, There is no security at the gate and literally anyone can get in. The playground and arcade room they show in pictures are not that way anymore. They are dingy and broken down, arcade room is only half working. The bathrooms and showers are dark and dirty. The kiddie pool was ICE cold. Things are just upkept as they “appear” to be in the pamphlets anymore. I love the memories at the campground but, it’s not the same. Some sites are great and others you can’t sneeze without intruding on your neighbor. My advice - scope out a site first before booking it. Close to the lake and the town is a big plus.

The Campsite location is great as it’s nearby Lake George Area, Million Dollar Beach and Outlets The Campsite facilities are in need of an upgrade and are really not well designed to be useful for campsite guests. Bathroom stalls are narrow and can’t sit comfortably without banging your head on the door. There was never any toilet paper. You should advise your guests to bring some. I didn’t use the showers as they weren’t clean. The basketball court and other recreational sites are really old. Also, there is no guard during the night. therefore it raised a safety concern. On the evening of July 9th, the guests from Lot 69 arrived late at night (pitch dark) and couldn’t find their campsite, the asked many guests onsite for repeated directions. Once they found their campsite, after they set it up they were playing loud music at 12:30 am and they were singing loud and woke up many guests. This disturbance lasted a good hour and we didn’t get much sleep because of this. The Campsite needs better indicators of Lot site and more lighting on the main road. The general store should have more items and be open longer hours It was very expensive for the non existing services and facilities that are not in good conditions to accommodate guests properly.

This campground is amazing!! I arrived around 8pm and didn’t like the site I booked online as it is my first time camping here. The office was closed at that time. I was lucky to see Suzan (office lady) walking her dog. She is amazing!! She managed to open the office for me and found me a better site. She is super nice and welcoming. She deserves a 5 stars Also, this place has all the amenities. Great location and convenient access to the downtown and the lake. The bathroom/showers kept clean. Not many mosquitoes were around as per other reviews. It was a great time. Definitely coming back

The stay from the beginning to the end was nothing but pure enjoyment. The people at the office was very nice to talk to. The even called to see what our eta was to get to the campground. Once there they made it easy to find my site, and it was right across from the bathrooms. Thank you for that. The location had plenty of space and not tight with the next site. I loved all the room that we had. It was aperfect weekend.

Youd need to walk along the highway so I wouldn't consider it safe even if you dont mind the distance.
There are different campsites within the resort. If you want cable, make sure to book a cable site (designated with a capital C).
I recently camped there. Walking around I noticed that the cabins had air conditioning window units
As in would everyone would be looking at the blk family like what they doing here.its happened
Open year round
Yes if you get one with water and electricity they also have sites without electricity and water

Was there for bike week, don't know about balloon fest. I'm sure you can Google balloon location and cross reference to camp location on Google maps.
