Front office were extremely helpful during the application, especially Chriss. I’m impressed with how quickly maintenance took care of a few things, came within just a few hours each time.

I’ve lived here for 4 years and everything is horrible about it. Everything is fine until you realize how cheap and horribly everything is put together. You can clean and try to keep up everything nice but it’s just so cheap. You don’t have much storage for anything, outside store or inside. The gates can never work right if they try and fix them they seem to not open or get stuck. Everything in the bathroom gets really moldy/ black and brown tint and peels, maintenance just paints over it. Rusty shower heads that aren’t all the way in the wall. The toilet isn’t all the way bolted down. Air went out for half a day for something that would be expected to be put in a log when the filters need to be changed or just regular maintenance. Will be changed $50 to put a light in a room that already has a ceiling fan without a light, Living room didn’t come with a light just the dining room light if it’s bright enough or the light nook light.$50 for blinds that are broken automatically added but not replaced until you request but still charged. Brown wall paint gets stained easy, looks dirty. Hot water went out, they came and fixed it right away just didn’t put everything back together. Maintenance doesn’t respect the carpet, will come and fix things but doesn’t have shoe covers to not track anything inside. Carpet normally isn’t replaced until about 5 year, they honestly just clean it the best they can. Window seals seem to let in more air during the winter. Of course pest control is always charged even when they don’t come because you have to request for something you always pay for. Trash is full most of the time. A lot of stray cats around. A lot of poop not being picked up. A lot of random cars, trailers, etc being parked in the complex. Not their fault but every now and then there may be a drunk driver that comes through and hit a whole row of cars, it happened twice already at night and during the day. Everything is high in price these days but the quality could match a little more.

This is nice place the only issue is the gates works on and off and the smell from other apartments seeps in my apartment. Other than that maintenance is great alone with the office staff.

I love this place cause it's quiet and peacful and have good neighbors so i love oak forest. The Office people are very helpful i hope they continue to be helpful me and My wife move here 2020 in Texas so i love Texas and Also love oak forest.
