Mike recently gave my Nakamichi DR-3 a good tune-up: alignment, cleaning, and so on. I never thought cassette tapes could sound this good, especially the CrO2 tapes with Dolby B. Excellent detail, with the soundstage wall to wall, floor to ceiling, and with very good depth. I couldn't be happier with his work, and the results. Thank you, Mike!

Honest, experienced, friendly, and organized. I’ve used a few vintage audio repair shops in DFW and this one is by far the best.

I can do that, but I am very behind. A little over a year behind right now. I do have a waiting list. Please call at 817-654-9445 and I can put you on the list and answer any questions you may have. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike Warren Vintage Audio
Yes, I do lots of them. I am about a year or so behind. Please call 817-654-9445 and I can put you on the waiting list. I have done this for 47 years and I have never seen the interest in getting combos rebuilt like now. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike Warren Vintage Audio
eBay is always a large market for selling receivers.
Yes, I do work on them. I have been blessed and am about a year or so behind on console stereos. You can call me at 817-654-9445 and I can put you on the waiting list. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike Warren Vintage Audio
Mike, Yes, I can. I have one of that model myself. The only thing is that I am so behind, it would probably take a year or so to get to. Don't want to mislead you on the time frame. Would be glad to take a look at if you desire. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike Warren Vintage Audio 817-654-9445
Have I talked to you before? Call me at 817-654-9445. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike Warren
I can work on these. Not quite sure if you wanted repair, but that is what I do. I am about 8 -10 months behind right now. You can call at 817-6544-9445. Thanks for your inquiry.
Yes, I do. Depends on what it is, but willing to talk to you about what you have. Please call 817-654-9445. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike Warren Vintage Audio
Yes. I do. They always need the capacitors replaced as well. Unfortunately, I am about 10 - 12 months behind at present. You can call me at 817-654-9445 and I can put you on the waiting list. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike Warren Vintage Audio
Did you mean Grundig? I have worked on the German radios and am familiar with many of them. If so, please call 817-65-9445 and I would be glad to discuss it. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike Warren Vintage Audio
I'm sure that I can. I have been blessed, and need to let you know that I am over 6 months behind. Would be glad to take a quick look and see what they need. Please call 817-654-9445 at your convenience. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike Warren Vintage Audio
More than likely the cartridge is bad. The original ones are not available, but a replacement is. Would be glad to take a peek, but am 6 months behind. I have been overwhelmed with work. Thanks for your inquiry and call 817-654-9445 if I can help you with this. Mike Warren Vintage Audio
Stan, Yes I can. I do need to tell you that I am very behind. Have been blessed, but it will take at least 3 months to get to. Thanks for you inquiry. Mike Warren Vintage Audio 817-654-9445
Mandy, Sorry it took so long to answer. Been having trouble with my internet service. As a general rule, I cannot make house on stereos as they have to come in to the shop for repairs. Sometimes I am able to take out the components leaving the cabinet and bring them not the shop if not too far away. I have been blessed with work and am about 6 - 8 months behind right now. If you would like to call , I could discuss it with you. Thanks for your inquiry. Mike Warren Vintage Audio 3708 E Lancaster Ave Fort Worth, TX 76103-3505 817-654-9445
Well, they have a warm, great sound when working correctly. As far is it worth it, it is if you intend to keep it for many years and enjoy. It could run around $400 or so for a complete capacitor replacement and LED upgrade. it is all in the ears of the beholder. thanks fo ryour inquiry. Mike W Vintage Audio
