Nice and quite large campsite. The toilets and showers are very clean and well maintained. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful! You can drive your car directly to the square and has a fire pit and a table with a bench. The price is a bit high, $55 for a night with a tent. But you are in Malibu and very close to Los Angeles. It's very quiet at night, we slept well!

Do not stay in spot 49, the big tree between it and the bathroom has a massive yellow jacket nest and they swarmed the site anytime we had any food out. Other than that this is a great campground with great spots for top rope/lead climbing and close access to great surf spots.

Nice campground. Lots of camp sights. It has token operated showers and they clean and sanitize the facilities daily. Shower tokens are dispensed from a dollar operated machine, 2 for a dollar. 1 token for 2 minutes. I think it actually lasted longer and I finished with only 1 token. This campground I'd about 40 minutes from Malibu beaches. Be aware, there is always heavy traffic in the Malibu area. I have never been there when I didn't see at least 1 minor fender bender. Some drivers are simple impatient to the point of recklessness. Back to the campground. It is known for great hiking to beautiful nature spots. There is a 1 mile hike to a very nice place and the park rangers are happy to tell you all about it. If you leave the campground after 10pm you will have to wait until 7:30 am, when they reopen the gate, to get back in. Important to know ! It is a good campground, we enjoyed it.

Tent sites are $45/night
Are you open now
Sites all look great, nice and Green
Apparently they are with reservations... i suggest call the place 1st... I went yesterday (6/31/2020) and they asked if i had a reservation
But if you like, there is the possibility of making a reservation.
$12 to park all day, there's also an hourly rate of $3.
We also had 4 tents and all was fine. It's a very nice, hill surrounded, secluded camp. And has showers!! Unlike most State Park camps across US. You'll enjoy it. :-)
Do these sites have electricity
Little if any signal at the main campsites you would need to head back towards entrance, group, and day areas to get better. Closer to main entry road is better.
There's not usually enough water in the creek for kayaking, but the beach is a short hike/drive away and I see people kayaking there all the time.
It's per night here. Plus spots are tight for trailers. We have a 21 footer and it was snug.
The main trails are gravel roads. Plus side trails which have no bike allowed signs
I recommend reservations first. It will be busy on weekend. But u can walk-in. Spot 22 and 24 really nice
yes. you’ll need reservations.
It depends on wind levels. Every day they post a sign about it.
I'd recommend reservations. Its pretty full all summer already.
No
Yes. There's a few vehicles from the show left behind.
