no. It's not Metra
I have not heard about a free one way. That was the case prior to Dec 31, 2021.
You would have to find which lines go there. I believe at least two different lines go there.
I have seen other people do it. But you do so at your own risk.
Absolutely it is far more convenient to park and ride the train. It is way cheaper than parking in the city plus dont have to deal with traffic. I've never had an issue with anyone messing with my vehicle and as Melissa stated the lot is policed. I will only go to the city by train now as once there you can take public transportation to get anywhere.
Best bet is to make sure it is locked up really good or store it inside when not using it. Unfortunately leaving it outside unsecured anywhere leaves it vulnerable to theft.
Yes, the train has an weeekday & weekend schedules. Go to the Playstore on Android or the Applestore iPhone and download South Shore app, it has a Orange train with brown background
Depending on where you are going, the el is close by and you may be able to get on there. But the furthest the train goes is Michigan and Randolph.
Yes but you have to take it downtown to Millennium Station then walk to Ogilvie Transportation Center (1-2 miles west) and take Union Pacific West line to Maywood
