An assortment of vendors selling veggies, fruit, fresher unpasteurized eggs, bacon, candles, hummus, coffee beans, artisan breads, nuts, candies, semi-mass produced handmade trickets, michelada mix, BBQ, toys, dog treats, peanut butter, Mexican food, sandwich truck, BBQ sauces and seasonings, micro-greens, and pastries. Dogs welcome, live music and people are friendly. Located in the Kaiser Permanente parking lot on Sundays. I learned today that California requires the bloom to washed off of the eggs before sale, requiring them to be refrigerated. The tomatoes being sold here by 3 different vendors look a lot like the underripe ones available in the grocery store.

Very little fresh produce- mostly a congregation of food trucks. The produce and farmers market items that were there were very good. Concord grapes from Murray Family Farms were delicious. The sheeps milk Greek yogurts from French Delice are superb.

More of an open air market, but plenty of fresh produce and lots of food vendors. Enjoyed some delicious grilled pork belly!

There are boxes of these vegetables available. You can also order for the following week too.
Year-round, rain or shine with a couple exceptions: Easter Sunday we're closed, if Christmas and New year's day are on Sunday we'll usually hold the market on the Friday before, and we may close early if the wind makes things too dangerous

Yup. The Haggin Oaks Farmers Market is closed on Easter Sunday, but usually open the Friday before. If Christmas or New Year's falls on a Sunday, they're closed those days as well. You're welcome?
I believe the Hens Roost in Bakersfield manages this Farmer's market or knows who does.
Haggin Oaks Farmers Market is held every Sunday year round 9am to 2 pm. Come enjoy a great market!
