I saw Kassandra for a trim & blow out. Incredibleeeeee 🥳 my hair has never looked better. She removed any damaged ends and was well educated on the care and expectations to have from a BB. Super sweet and super professional. Lovely experience all around!

This was my first time visiting The Upper Hand Salon since recently moving to the Houston area. I saw Katarina who was nothing short of a meticulous stylist who pays attention to detail! She made me feel pampered and spoiled during my visit. From making sure I had my diet Cokes to her wonderful shampoo! We all know this is the best part at a salon. Getting our hair washed. Nothing but relaxing. I showed Katarina a picture of what color I had in mind. She understood the assignment😉 She took pride in making sure she preserved the integrity of my hair through hair mask and treatment. I would recommend Katarina! She is a doll!

I used to come here and see Deanna for keratin and haircuts but then I learned she left the salon and didn’t find her anymore , came back YEARS later saw a stylist named Ali she was nice when i was asking about hair extensions and I did wanted to get them but I didn’t want my hair the color it was back then but my hair wasn’t healthy enough to lighten , I politely asked her if there was anything we could do in the meanwhile as I didn’t want to commit to dark brown hair extensions, after that she stopped responding to me. Gave me the impression of “ stop wasting my time” because I didn’t want to spend over 1 grand in hair I didn’t want to commit just yet. I recently went with another stylist for a hair cut lauryn I think is her name she cut my hair gave me a deep conditioning treatment advised me to go darker since I went to get my hair lightened elsewhere about 4 months ago and it was feeling dry. She educated me a little bit about my hair type and how some hair just doesn’t like to be lightened and bleach especially curly thick hair like mine that’s screaming MOISTURE. I gave her my whole hair history and she advised to go darker and keep away from hair extensions and bleach. She was a true professional stylist and definitely recommend her. She showed concern in my hair and gave me the best advice on how to grow long hair. She was honest and professional
