Jake's used to be the go to place for my wife and I. Last night was the nail in the coffin. They removed some of our favorite dishes and the quality of meals has gone down hill. The last 3 times we have gone the food has been mediocre at best. Being fans of their (old dish) spicy shrimp i tried the orange marmalade coconut shrimp. It was mediocre, the effort does not live up to the $16 price tag. The fried green beans are still good we enjoyed those. We also tried the crab cakes. They were not good, the spicy mayo was ok but could use more depth, and the cakes themselves were a soggy bland mess. We were excited to hear the special was lamb shank because we used to love their rack of lamb. The shank tasted like a turkey leg, the mashed potatoes were bland, the the asparagus was abnormally enormous and bland. The wait staff started off great, but there was a sharp decline once our food came out. Once we finished eating we had to wait 5-10 minutes to flag someone for the check. We asked for a to-go box, and they never brought it. They repeatedly walked by our table to talk to another table they seemed personable with, so we ended up carrying our bones and meat out in a napkin. We have given them many chances hoping they could be as good as they used to be, but this was the last straw. We will not be going back.

They have an outstanding chef here! We started with the Mahi Mahi tacos as an appetizer, continued with entrées of Prime Rib and grilled Mahi Mahi, perfectly cooked and excellent flavor. The Triple Berry Tart for dessert closed the deal. Will visit again.

Warm and relaxing.Food was great and drinks were amazing. Try the chocolate martini!!

Service was great atmosphere was great my fish was a little overcooked but I'd go back.
